Tying Instructions 1.Use a few strands of clear antron and attach to hook with thread. Wrap to the bend. Twist the Antron fibers into a rope and wrap toward eye to complete tag. 2.Bind in a few marabou fibers for tail. Pinch ends to length with fingers; don't cut with scissors. 3.Apply sparse amount of dubbing to thread, wrap to 3/4 shank length. Tie in 1/8 X 1" piece of clear packing foam using figure 8 wrap. Leave the ends until you're finished. 4.Wrap more dubbing for thorax by criss-crossing the halo. 5.Tie in the orange elk hair, tips facing forward. Clip excess and whip finish in front of spike. 6.Clip the sides of the foam halo to length. |
