Tying Instructions 1.Attach the thread to the hook and wrap back to the bend of the hook. Tie in the tail material. The tail should be slightly shorter than body length. Tie in copper wire. 2.Wrap the thread to the mid- section of the hook. Wrap the pheasant tail fibers forward to create the abdomen. Rib the abdomen with copper wire. 3.Tie in 4-6 strands of pearl Krystal flash. Tie in the peacock herl and wrap it forward to form the thorax. Tie off herl and trim. 4.Pull the Krystal Flash forward over the thorax to form the wingcase. Tie in and divide 6 pheasant tail fibers and pull back to form legs. Wrap the thread over the fibers at the head of the fly with the thread, this will force the fibers to remain at the side. 5.Trim the legs to size, equal with the thorax. Whip-finish and cement.
